Active Membership: What Does it Mean? - iT Forums

Active Members are special group of users, who are rewarded with special privileges for being Active in our iT Community.

Now as u all might have noticed Active members receive special privileges including
"No waiting High Speed Download Links" & "Live 24/7 TV Channel Streaming"

And This thread basically goes through the Big question.
What does it mean to be active?

Here it is , some steps and suggestion [but not limited to] becoming active

Community is all abt Sharing. Share ur thoughts & ideas through topics and replies.
Start New topics [in appropriate section]. Ur reputation Matters.
Post replies [not just "thanks" or "thanks for sharing"] Express how u feel either +ve or -ve.
Be Active in Shout Box.
Involve in activities, contests, and clubs.
Come up with new Ideas & solutions for better development of iT.
Make friends [once again ur reputation among others matter during promotion]

Help the community...within ur ability

All comes down to Share, Care and get Rewarded

Note: This is NOT thread to request for promotion. But to Let u guys know what Admins look for during promotion.

iT Promotion System Havent Set any limits [meaning we dont say that u need this much amount posts, topics or reps]. All we look for is ur involvement with ur best ability and valuable threads.

i really do understand what you guys are saying on how to be active members! but not everybody is a computer savvy. it took me a long time for me to know how your site works, i guess it took me more than a year. i will try my best to post. but i always visit your site as i enjoy watching malayalam TV here in New zealand, as they are not able to beam it to this part of the world. hence my family enjoy watching malayalam TV and staying in touch with kerala, this is the only way i have found at last. i will try my best to post, but i wish i could be an active member ASAP. thanks IT for all your efforts, Regards from my family ,Amrita and kiran too.
